Center for Digital and Visual Literacy

Access digital tools and develop your technological skills at the Center for Digital and Visual Literacy (CDVL).

We help students, faculty and staff learn new technologies and programs and integrate them into their work.

Located on the terrace level of McCain Library, the CDVL has two student work areas with iMac computers, a tutoring center for side-by-side support and an audio/video studio with a green screen.

Our iMac computers come equipped with:

  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • Audacity for audio editing
  • Apple iLife (iMovie, GarageBand, Photo)
  • Apple iWork (Keynote, Numbers, Pages)
  • Davinci Resolve for video recording
  • Other requested applications
As a student, you also have access to WordPress and complimentary hosting to create your own domain or ePortfolio. Our learning assistants are also here to help you explore new tools and approaches to digital projects.
